How does the UGC Rate Calculator work?
You enter your experience tier (new, developing, or experienced), the content format (faceless demo, lifestyle, or talking-head), and any add-ons you need to price — such as paid ads licensing, raw footage handover, or exclusivity. The calculator applies market-standard multipliers from real creator pricing data and outputs a recommended rate range for your deliverable.
What experience tiers does the calculator use?
The calculator uses three tiers: new creator (under 6 months, typically £100–£200 per video), developing creator (6–18 months, typically £200–£400), and experienced creator (18+ months with a conversion-proven track record, typically £400–£800+). These bands reflect what brands actually pay, not aspirational ceiling rates.
Does follower count affect my UGC rate?
For pure UGC (where you hand the content to the brand and they post it), follower count has very little impact on rate. What matters is format, scripting load, experience, and licensing scope. Follower count only significantly shifts rates when posting to your own channel is bundled into the deal.
How should I price paid ads licensing on top of creation?
Paid ads licensing is priced as a percentage uplift on your base creation fee. Common benchmarks: +20–30% for 3 months, +25–40% for 6 months, and +30–50% for 12 months. The calculator applies these uplifts automatically when you select a licensing period.
